Ultraman Lava is the twelve oldest Scorpium Ultra and wields the power of magma, introduced in Ultraman One (season 4). In Ultraman Virus Gaiden: The Scorpium Ultras, he becomes the elder brother of Tsuchi. On Earth, he used the human alias Honda Sawa.

Lava leads a fairly normal life since young, he signed the Pact Scroll while mastering the power of fire and Earth and after defeating the invading Colossal, he became close with the Terrariums.
Ultraman One (Season 4-5)[]
Lava first appeared fighting against Virus and Belial, but was easily defeated and corrupted by Voiderium. During his fight with Xena, Lava was purified and meets Dark Sceptor. Lava later joined the latter with taking down his father, but the failure of stopping Virus from initiating an apocalypse explosion forced Genesis Messiah's arrival to restore the entire universe. Lava joins the Ultras from Showa Universe against Evil Messiah but after a losing battle, Lava merged with Cure, who partnered himself with One Hexagonal with putting an end to the evil deity. Lava subsequently returned back home.
Appearances on Earth[]
During the visits on Earth, Lava teamed up with All and Windy against Holoten and later battled against an army of Flametrons summoned by Breaker, an Ultra hailing from Hell. Lava was absent when the Tomoya Family dealt with the evildoers of their kind, as Breaker had forcibly teleported a weakened him back to Planet Terra, who later suffered defeat at the hands of Orb. Lava returned the second time with Windy and All for the purpose of assisting Sceptor against the combined threats of Hyozan, Ex-Basser "Aurora" and Orochi. The three of them then departed, while entrusting Sceptor with the descend of Jugglus Reflector.
Subsequent History[]
In Unite! Ultras from 26 Universes: Defeat the Dark Sorcerer!, Lava ventured to an alternate Showaverse to recruit Ultras there in fighting against Kumasaga at Side Space Universe before fighting alongside Windy, Celestial, Vader and Trident, assisting the other Ultras in fighting against the Dracos.
Ultraman Virus Gaiden: The Scorpium Ultras[]
Lava took the role of cultivating his younger brother Tsuchi into a nurtured warrior, where the brothers had teamed up with the invaders of Planet Terra; they were Hyozan, Galactron and Flaming Stargon. At one point, the brothers and All saved Blitz and Flora and forcing Vipermayu into retreat after the butterfly lifeform banished the brothers into the Sekyu Dimension. Near the finale, Lava was among the older Scorpium Ultras restoring imbalances caused by Vipermayu while the younger ones eradicated the destroyer.
Scorpium Ultras The Movie: Fate! Scorpio Universal Calamity![]
Lava was recruited by Cure to investigate the sudden disappearance of Yvon,as Virus and his children had ventured towards Planet Tenebris to save her after the Tomoya Family received a mysterious message. At the "Floating Continent", Lava contributed to the defeat of Vampir after merging himself with Cure as part of the older generation Scorpium Ultras after the former had entrusted Atlanta with the killing of Guar Spectre. With peace returned, Lava remeets with Tsuchi as they returned to Planet Terra.

- Lavarium Ball: As a molten rock ball, Lava can travel across space or transporting others too.
- Lavarium Burst: Lava’s strongest attack. Lava creates a gigantic molten rock, firing it with himself ramming the target, finisher attack.
- Lavarium Aura: Lava engulfs himself with an aura of lava to empower himself, and be impervious to attacks. He can reduce damage to the surroundings with his powers. The aura’s true powers allow him to assume his Ultimate Form.
- Lava Comboblast: From his both hands, Lava can release mud-liquid empowered with flames, and ripping apart foes body. When fired at the feet, he creates a molten rock ring to trap his foes.
- Lavarium Protect: Erects a wall of molten rocks around himself to block attacks.
- Lavarium Throw: Lava levitates in mid-air, releasing multiple molten rocks to strike foes. A stronger variant involves a gigantic flaming ball being thrown. Can counter an enemy attack, ranged from medium-large sized explosions.
- Lavarium Shower: Lava creates a rain shower of lava to heal himself or his allies, and calming down aggressive foes.
- Lavarium Stream: Lava creates a river stream of lava, to quickly reach foes to strike them.
- Lavarium Shocker: Coats the ground with Lava before unleashing a fiery shockwave to strike foes. This move is often used to break barriers.
- Lavarium Geokinetic: Lava surrounds himself with lava and converting it into geothermal energy. The said energy can be utilized to boil her foes and creating bubbles to neutralise an enemy attack.

- Lavarium Dragon: Lava's signature move, Lava creates 7-8 (Max:40) dragons filled with magma. They can fight against foes, attacking them directly and sent to attack anything. In addition, they can act as a barrier and dissolving foes' attack into their body and negating it completely.
