A movement within Sun Elf civilization that wants to turn away from Sol and Cinder Magic and replace it with Astral Magic
Beliefs[]
The Night Elves believe that they are being held back by Sol's restraints on magic, which ultimately stopped them from wiping out the ancestors of the Death and Wild Elves. They are Sun Elf supremacists and believe only their race should inhabit the world and view Sol's companionship with the other Titan Princes as a betrayal.
To these ends they believe that Astral Magic can help them replace their reliance on Sol and seek to convert the rest of their society to this belief.
Possible Future[]
In a possible future, the Night Elves succeeded in destroying the Sol Well, and forcing their race to convert to Astral Magic. This lead to the Astral Dwarves leaving and other unintended side effects. Their race's skin became Obsidian black, and their eyes glowed a silvery light. They initiated wars against the Death and Chaos elves, but they also brought about the Long Night.
Without the Sol Well, Sol presence, in the world, the energies of Z and Akreious were without accountability and so pushed the world first, into a long winter, and then a night without end. During this time, numerous monsters spawned and the rampant necromancy radiated from the Fountain of Z made all dead eventually resurrect as mindless ghouls. Akreious unrestrained actions caused new monsters to spawn. However, the Fountain was not like the well, and could not be so easily destroyed and Akreious never had a direct font into the world.
