Long before time even had a name, two siblings, a brother and a sister were born from a King and two different goddesses for the King needed a heir. With two different ideals, the siblings waged war on each other, the sister, with the ideal world with ever-lasting peace while the brother's ideal world, is that with him as king. They were complete opposites, Ying and Yang, Black and White, Light and Darkness, Boys and Girls (whoops wrong place...). Both goddess mothers died in the process fighting along side their children, while the sister seemed to be losing, the brother seemed to be gaining the upper hand. Not wanting to kill her brother, the sister sealed her brother away in a planet of ice in a never-ending slumber...or so we thought...
Part 1: Our Universe![]
Mebius Universe
A distinct red Ultraman walked down the Academy halls with the Legendary Ultraman Zero and Ultraman Taro by their sides. "So how goes the training of the trainees?" Asked Mebius cheerfully and carefully, Zero giving a nonchalant shrug, leaving Taro to answer.
"They're doing fine Mebius, we don't need your assistance. However... That one worries me," Taro spoke, gesturing to a young Ultra Trainee unable to so much as peep out a Specium Ray, Mebius giving an agreeing Nod.
"He's just bad, he should see me training with Leo if he couldn't even pull o-" Zero Spoke, before swift fully being interrupted by Mebius.
"Zero he's just a child!" which gave the halls an awkward aura. "Mebius, would you like to teach him sometime? I'd actually appreciate a tutor more his age" Taro suggested.
"You know Taro I would love to tea-" But a particular beeping came from Zero's Legend brace, Zero just tapping the crystal.
"Okay you two "WOSHOO MASTARS", Me and Mebius are gonna leg it. We got in trouble by accidentally injuring a peaceful alien that got in the way of our Super Heroing" Zero waved to Taro as he and Mebius sped up to the end of the hall.
"Those two certainly are getting stronger than any of us..." Taro spoke, turning around back to his students.
"Why'd you tell him that Zero? He's an Elite, My master would've already known," Mebius spoke as they both jumped off the platform and started their journey into space.
"Well Maybe I just wanted to! You can't stop what I can't or cannot do," He spoke back quickly, speeding up to their patrol routes.
"Super Heroing? Really Zero? I mean I don't want to be mean but really?" Mebius asked Zero casually.
"Hey don't judge, We're practically space Jesus in the Universe. Well I am, not sure about you." Zero responded quickly and smuggling striking a pose. But Mebius simply chuckled but took notice to a planet nearby. "Zero Look! Alien Zettons are letting loose Zettons on that Alien Planet!" He worriedly told Zero.
"And? We're supposed to Patrol near the Andromeda Galaxy, not stop and protect planets. Now that I think about it, that's messed up..." Zero said, mumbling the ending part.
"Zero! Fine you go, I'll take the blame," Mebius shouted as he went off-course towards the Planet.
"Mebius! Argh goddammit Moral Dilemmas!" Zero shouted, following Mebius down to the planet.
"Everybody run! The Gods have sent their judgements! Ruun!" the citizens kept repeating as they ran from the Zettons. "Zeeeetton" was all they could hear before many's demise.
A Zetton walked up onto a small Alien Girl, crying for their parents. All she heard was the roar of the Zetton, the shadow of its foot covering the girl. "Mama!!!!" She screamed, and in what seems to be a response, The Zetton starts to fly into the air, landing infront of her a Red Giant. Another Zetton walked up behind Mebius but another light from the sky came down and sent it flying like the other.
"Zero Did you get slower?" Mebius asked before picking up the little alien girl, and flying her over to what's left of her village, turning over and striking a battle stance towards the group of Zettons, Zero slamming two into the mountain.
"You think I'm capable of going at your speeds? You're probably the speed Olympian mebius!" Zero complained while also striking a Zetton in the head, sending it to the ground. Mebius flew over to Zero, Using his Drill kick and ripping right through a Zetton. The Zettons stood no chance, both Mebius and Zero destroying Zettons easily.
When they were finishing up the Zettons, More appeared in the sky. "Don't worry Mebius, I'll handle this!" Zero said to him with immense amount of Smug. "Wait Zero! Don't run off like thaaa...." Mebius tried to call out, before getting a vision of the future, like he did before.
"What?! Again!? What.... Is that a.... Hyper Ze-.... What's that sound? Darn it Baraghi now's not a good time!" Before being cut off back to reality, looking around only for the little Alien Girl waving as a thanks, Mebius waving back with dizziness and kindess. "Hey Zero, did you just get that vision?!" Mebius shouted up, Zero replying with a loud "What did you say!?".
Mebius sighs and tries to yell louder but a distant sound caught Mebius' ear. "Hey Zero! I'm going to get a head-start to the Patrol point! See you there!" He attempted to make an excuse, flying towards the sound, Zero in the back shouting "Now that isn't fair!!".
"Where is that voice coming from?" Mebius asked himself, landing on the other side of the planet looking around, before looking at a giant temple. "What..." He asked himself, looking in to the still small temple for him, before seeing a prophecy of another world. "Now that's just unfair" He said, looking around.
"The voice is still faint, it's coming from this stone tablet...." he told himself, before slightly flinching at a demonic voice suddenly appearing what seems to be behind him. "Another world..." He told himself, two golden portals opening at the side and attaching itself onto Mebius, turning him into a Golden Warrior.
"Sorry Zero, This other universe needs my help..." He said, charging energy into the Aegis and ripping a hole in the universe, Going to another universe.
However, Mebius is not the only Hero needed by this Universe.
Alpha Universe
A red-and-black Ultra can be seen standing in the middle of a sand planet. This planet's extremely dense atmosphere keeps all the heat trapped, making the planet have a surface temperature of over 500°C.
The Ultra sighed, as sweat flowed aroubd his forehead. He slowly kneeled on the soft sand and placed his palm on it. His body started glowing golden, a visible sign that the Ultra is using his energy.
Suddenly, like a miracle, the atmosphere suddenly got a lot less dense while the sand slowly turned into dirt, plants started growing. This was none-other then the work of magic and alchemy combined, terraforming.
The ultra stood up, revealing a rather plain-looking Ultra. The Ultra snapped his hands to his head, where he started seeing weird things.
"Now why the hell did I just see the SonicWB wikia?", the Ultra said, but then he got the message, "Oh...I get it...it's the end of the world..."
The Ultra frowned at the message before he started hearing really messed up demonic whispering. "Isn't this the part where we know we're possessed if this was a horror movie?", he asked, still talking to himself, before he started awkwardly flying away from the newly terraformed planet.
The demonic voice seems to be saying stuff like 'Go live in Canada', 'Poutine is great' and 'This is a great crossover', until he finally understood what it was saying, 'Go to this place, the lost temples of Wutshaduing.'
The Ultra flew towards the ruins of the temples of Wutshaduing, before he came face to face with a lone Bogal.
The Bogal said, in a really creepy ass voice, " Ultraman...Alpha...food...!"
The Bogal charged at Ultraman Alpha, who casually released his Alpha Cross Blades and killed it, "Well...that was easy...", he said, " But what was a Bogal doing here..."
He thought about it for several seconds before jumping inside a weird portal that he found inside the temples of Wutshaduing, while yelling 'YOLO!'
Except that he landed in water and it was actually reflecting off the light that the portal was emitting on top of him. Alpha face-palmed and sent an Ultra signal to his brother-in-arms, Ultraman Omega.
Omega's house
While Omega was patiently painting his door green (because a monster painted it red...), an Ultra Sign went crashing through his door, destroying it.
Omega swore out loud and started communicating telepathically with Alpha, "What the hell, man!", he yelled inside Alpha's head, "You broke my door!"
"Ho! You should have seen that one time that I had an encounter with weirdos bursting into my house, one was a coffee addict, one...was a freaking succubus!", Alpha said, suddering as he remebered those terrifying memories while he was hiding along with Dent from SuccuMebius, he shuddered even more.
"I don't care! I just read your message! It said 'RIP door!"
"Look man, I just found a portal to another world and I'm going there! And why can't you just create a green door? You're literally as OP as I am!"
"True that...", Omega flicked his wrist and a green door was created where he wanted it to be, inside his head, he heard Alpha scream 'YOLO, before apparently jumping inside the portal, he looked upon his new door while drinking a cup of coffee...until a Bemstar flew into his new door, breaking it.
Part 2: Universes Collide[]
Mebius came out of the portal, it closing in the skies above, his immense weight causing the sand on the ground to fly up into the air. He immediately relegated himself down to his human Persona, the human known as Hibino Mirai appearing in place of where the Ultraman once was. But sadly for him, the moment he landed on the sad, he slid down the giant plateau of sand and into what seems to be a ditch, in response saying "Oh Come on!" as he wrestled to keep his GUYS Jacket and blaster in place.
After finally stopping, he stood up and analyzed what was around him, but all he found was sand. Using his Ultra Hearing, he discovered that there were voices, laughter and even screaming?
Then he looked up and realized his mistake, another person went crashing into the sand just right next to him. He subconsciously grabbed his Blaster out of its holster but immediately re holstered it once seeing it's at least human.
"Are you okay?", Mebius asked the newcomer as he got up, "What's your name?"
The teenager looked at Mebius in a wary way, and asked "Are you human? And why are you asking me personal questions this soon?"
"To answer your question, yes I am a human" he replied quickly, patting off his extremely dusty GUYS jacket.
"Fine...then let's say our name at the same time...Ready?" asked Alpha, Mebius just smiling then a nod to an agreement, thinking of something witty that he thinks would probably match this... Teenager.
Both 'humans' then started counting down to 1 from 3, "3...2...1...", they said in unison, "Banana Split!"
Both of them eye-ed each other, wondering why the other person said the exact same thing that he did.
Mebius then just smiled, seeing no reason not to be kind towards this stranger. "I'll go first, then you!" He said, "Hello Person, My Name is Hibino Mirai! Members of GUY... Oh right they don't exist here huh....?" he introduced, trailing off into a thought.
The teen looked at him and then reluctantly said his name, "Curtis...Nice to meet you, Mirai..."
Mirai smiled and offered a help up, the teen hesitantly took his hand and got up.
"Where are we? Mojave Desert?" Mirai asked, unzipping his jacket due to the heat.
"Are you really asking if we're on an Earthly desert after going to another world that's potentially a desert planet?" Curtis replied to Mirai's question.
"Well, it could potentially be an alternate Earth too..." Mirai said as he snapped back into reality.
"I mean, considering that my thermometer says that it's over 60°C...You should know better..."
Suddenly, Mirai was reminded of the laughter and voices, "Wait, before we decided to camp here..."
"Whoa, whoa man! What do you mean by we?" Curtis replied quickly.
"Well...we are both strangers here and we don't know what lurks here so..."
Curtis eye-rolled and reluctantly agreed, "Fine...So...what were you going to say?"
"I meant to say that before you crash-landed next to me. I heard voices and laughter over by that way.", Mirai pointed to a direction which is apparently North, according to Curtis' compass, which he doubts.
"Well...I mean it's worth a shot...considering we're probably gonna freeze to death when it's night..."
Mirai nodded and started walking North, Curtis takes one last look behind him before starting to follow after Mirai as the Sun was setting.
Part 3: The Run-In[]
It was night time when the 'humans' finally started seeing a dim light source up ahead of them. With the -30°C weather fighting against them, they started running towards the light, hoping to at least find refuge for the night.
"I think at this point, your thermometer and my Memory Display both agree we should get out of here!" Mirai tried to say through the cold.
"Do you think we should stop and check if they agree or do you want to try and find refuge?!" Curtis said back. The light gets closer and closer, until the temperature slightly increases.
But what they find was beyond their expectations, they found a village, a freaking village in the middle of a desert planet. The two looked at it in awe, before turning to each other, they both nodded, and jogged to the village.
At closer examination, the houses were entirely made out of sand, being the only constructing material around the planet. Mirai looked through a window, hoping to find somebody. But it was devoid of all life.
Curtis entered a house first and started closely examining the sand shelves and stuff before announcing, "There wasn't anybody for a while here...look at the extra sand on the hardened sand..."
Mirai also examined the furniture and arrived at the same conclusion, the two of them jumped as suddenly, a cry was heard a few blocks away from where they were. They ran outside, looking for the source of the scream. They looked left, and found a huge bonfire building, the two nodded at each other before cautiously sneaking to where the bonfire was.
When they finally feel the warmth of the bonfire, they saw people dancing around it, Curtis and Mirai looked at each other before deciding to walk up to one of them to ask for directions and information.
A native snapped his head towards them, making the duo abruptly stop in their tracks, the native called out to the others, making all the other natives turn their heads towards them.
The 'humans' both looked at each other, before Mirai asked the native that was currently in front of them, "Hello?" in the normal Universal Tongue.
The native took off his mask, revealing a face somewhat similar to that of humans, "Who are you?", the native asked, speaking english which surprised both of them.
"You speak english?", Curtis asked, pushing Mirai aside, interested of that an alien spoke the same language as Earth.
"Anyways...", Mirai said, pushing Curtis aside, as he was worried that he might offend the natives due to his careless-ness, "We're travelers...So we were hoping that we could take shelter here!"
The man/native/alien looked at Mirai for a while before laughing, "I like you, kid...on the other hand...", he said, while looking at Curtis, "That brat needs some teaching..."
Curtis frowned at the insult, and couldn't resist adding, "And that brat might one day save your life..."
The man looked at him for a while before laughing at him, "You? Saving me? You have yet to seen the horrors which lies in the dept of these sands..."
Curtis' eyes twitched before storming into the designated house that the natives allowed them to live in. Curtis lied down on his uncomfortable sand bed, before thinking about the buff native. He swore out loud before lying down at his bed.
"So, where do you come from?", the native asked, curious where these two travelers would have come from as all they have seen was just their destroyed planet, DaruDune.
Mirai thought for a bit, as he wasn't comfortable revealing to these people that he was really an Ultra, he smiled as he knew the answer, the planet the Ultra Brothers and he loves, Earth. "Earth, I come from Earth."
The man looked curiously at him, before asking, "What is it like?"
"It is beautiful...the relaxing sound of the seas...the peaceful wildlife around you..."
"This 'Earth' seems like something DaruDune used to be..."
"What happened?"
"A war of the gods...it is said by our ancestors that Glacia...", the native pointed up to an ice planet almost twice size of DaruDune, "Is a gift from the heavens made when the war was finished..."
"It is indeed beautiful...the calm relaxing white of its surface is very elegant!"
"But that is not all! Our ancestors predicted that an eclispe will unleash the true power within Glacia...and it is tomorrow night!" He said as he laughed.
"Sounds very fun! What does the legends say will happen when the true power within Glacia is unleashed?" Mirai asked curiously.
"That's just it my friend Mirai, that's all the legend says! We shall see tomorrow, yes?" He replied with a smile.
Mirai nodded and smiled back, looking at Curtis playing with sand on the table.
"Great, so why is everything sand then?" Curtis quickly jumped in, wiping the sand off his hands.
"That... It's getting late. Get some sleep you two, We shall continue in the morning" The person said, getting up and gesturing them to the next room, a big room with two beds that were surprisingly soft considering what they had on hand. (Sand)
"What? Did a giant Teddybear come down and rained its Teddy Lasers on this planet or something?" Curtis joked, The man left through the door with a small grin at the joke.
"Smooth! You're not very sensitive to these subjects are you?" Mirai said as he sat onto the bed across the room.
"Should I? Not like it's real or anything. What next? You're gonna tell me a ridiculous monster with an extremely long name is gonna appear? Get real Mirai, The people here are probably just a little cray-cray from the sand" Curtis told him.
"They're nice Curtis! I bet tomorrow, we'll have a fun time at the Festival!" Mirai said, trying to get Curtis into believing the locals a little.
"I really doubt that Mirai, Aaaaanyways, Goin' to sleep!" He said, flopping onto the bed and making pretend snoring noises.
Mebius simply sat down with a candle on the table next to him, and laying down, relaxing after the long trek to this town, until something finally donned on him.
"Wait if they consider an ice planet a distant thing, there's no water!?" Mebius suddenly jumped up.
"SNORING!!! Zzzzzzz!!!" Curtis just shouted louder.
Mirai just sighed and calmed himself down then smiled. "Nice joke, Curtis" He said before blowing out the candle and going to sleep, Curtis surprisingly calming.
Part 4: Wait What Happened?[]
In the morning, the two 'humans' awoke to the loud sound of traditional tribal music, Curtis swore out loud, "Before I go transmutate this whole darn place into water...Shut up!", he yelled as he covered his ears with his sweater.
Mirai sighed and said, "Still mad from yesterday?"
"Who's mad? The only people mad here is the natives! I mean...seriously? An ice planet as paradise? No thank you! Shoveling snow at Canada is already enough for me..."
"Curtis...this is a desert...of course they would see an ice planet as a nice planet"
"Was that just a pun I heard?"
"No pun intended, but as for now, let's just go and enjoy the festival!"
"Oh joy...sand tempura..."
Mirai left from the sand house first, given that he was excited to see what kind of culture these people had and what new friends he could make.
Meanwhile, Curtis was still at the sand house, wondering if he should actually go outside, due to the hot temperatures. He finally decided to go outside when kids decided to prank him inside the house by throwing sand at him.
Mirai was looking at the local "Convenience" store, which housed mostly sand pots and sand utilities, before turning back to catch up with Curtis.
When he found Curtis, he was chucking sand at the kids that pranked him which made them flinch and run away, Curtis somehow able to make sand balls.
"You know, throwing sand at kids isn't exactly a good first impression" Mebius/Mirai said jokingly at Curtis.
"They've lived here for god knows how long, they should be used to a sandstorm even." Curtis said shrugging off Mebius' comment.
"Maybe, but it still isn't going to get you any friends."
"Did you just crack an insult?"
"Maybe I did~. C'mon Curtis, lets go get Lunch" Mirai said as he laughed it off, Gesturing Curtis to follow him as he walked around a bit now.
"Is he learning?" Curtis thought to himself as he shrugged and followed Mebius to a sand restaurant.
"Hellooo? We'd like to have lunch!" Mebius told the owners of the "store". They sat outside on a sandstone table and chairs.
"Everything is freaking sand in this place, I haven't seen a single leaf or tree yet" Curtis said, shaking sand out of his shoe annoyingly then sitting down.
"I agree, Curtis... everything is sand" Mirai answered as the waiter came with "normal" food, putting down what looks like sand bugs and scorpions that were cooked on the table.
".... Mirai... when I said "Oh Joy, Sand Tempura".... I was joking" Curtis said as he poked what looked like a Sand Tempura, it twitching slightly. "Gross" he added.
"I... I have to agre- I mean Curtis! Don't complain about free food! Itadakimasu..." Mirai said as he picked up the chopsticks and picked up the tempura, it slightly twitching and forcing himself to eat it, then suddenly slamming his hands onto the table and tilting his head down with a painful look on his face.
"Itadakima- ..... Hahahaa! Mirai! You should've known I was right!" Curtis laughed at Mirai, who is struggling to chew and bite it, and before long swallow it.
"It was foul.... tasteless... and still alive.... It bit my tongue and throat...." Mirai said painfully as he coughed and put the plate closer to Curtis to let him try.
"... What!? Oh hell no, I'm not eating that hell dish! I'd rather starve!"
"Curtis! They're nice enough to feed us, then we have to finish it to be polite!"
"ARE YOU AWARE OF WHAT YOU'RE EATING?!" Curtis told Mirai, taking his chop sticks and picking up a sand Tempura and putting it up into Mebius' face.
Mirai simply took it from him with his chopsticks and forcibly ate it as well, mumbling "If you're gonna waste it, I'll eat it all...".
"You'll regret it, there's at least 40 of those" Curtis said, smiling.
Mirai only taking a gulp, then pulling the plate closer to him and started chugging down the Sand Tempuras, which gives him the worst gag reflex ever.
"I-It's good...." He said, moving his head around to try and distract him from the completely terrible food.
Curtis is simply smiling as Mirai tortures himself, then poking the ones still on the plate to provoke them to make it more painful for Mirai to eat.
Soon enough, Mirai indeed eaten all of it, which surprised the natives and clapped for him as even they agree it is somewhat foul and is terrible upon the first taste.
"Good job, you have eaten Hell Shrimp" Curtis joked, Mirai attempted to make a come back but gagged from the after-taste, then waving to everybody and gesturing them they can go.
"The festival is going to start soon... Lets head to the fire we saw yesterday...." Mirai said as he coughed, standing up and walking towards the giant bonfire.
"Wait, what happened to being polite? Huh, Mirai!?" Curtis asked as he ran after Mirai.
Approaching the Bonfire, he replied after finally bringing the aftertaste to a bearable level. "There are times where there are exceptions, Curtis" Mirai replied as he unzipped his jacket due to the heat.
The moment he did it, Some of the native girls dancing waved to him smiling.
"Well look at you Mr.Hotshot" Curtis said as he walked over to a log and sat, watching the bonfire then starting conversation with the person next to him.
Mirai was looking at some weird tribal dance involving sand throwing, with the girls eyeing him down as if inspecting him, but a distinct sound caught his attention, one that he is familiar with, one that had devoured countless life forms, Bogal. He then realized that it was not alone, that there was more, at least a dozen of them.
Curtis also heard the Bogals' cries, quickly and what Mirai calls rude, leaves and rushed to where Mirai was, "You'd better run...things are coming...and you might not like them...", he said, still thinking that Mirai was only just a human.
"I'm not running as long as there's people still around, Please allow me to stay and protect them!", Mirai stated as he pulled out his blaster, also unaware that Curtis was also an Ultra.
Then the worst thing happened for both of them, the guy who gave them their house suddenly came, "How are you guys enjoying our festival?", he asked, while the 'humans' had to act as if everything was normal.
"I have to warn them about the Bogals. But how?", Mirai thought as the man took them both for a tour around the festival stands.
"That idiot of a man!", Curtis thought as he was dragged along Mirai, "He is gonna get us all killed! Alpha and his stupid rules of not transforming when people are around you..."
The man continued to babble, making both 'humans' anxious about the incoming attack from the Bogals.
Mirai acted cheerful, asking questions about their culture and traditions, But in the back of his mind tried to find an opening to leave.
They walked around the village, going literally to every corner as the entire village has a history, before the man noticed Mirai's blaster is out of its holster.
"May I ask what that thing is you're holding? It is never like anything I've seen before" The man asked, Mirai jumping at the sudden question.
"Oh it's a magical item that lets me eat sand without actually eating sand!" Mirai lied, smiling.
"Oh that's useful" The man replied.
"Yeah! Actually I'm hungry right now, So I'm going to go over there and eat the sand there since it's more rich in nutri- I mean, there's more sand there!" Mebius said as he realizes they might not know what nutrition is.
The man simply nodded and yanked Curtis with him to the next destination as Mirai ran to the direction of the Bogals, With Curtis in his mind saying "Godamnit Mirai, That small pistol isn't going to do anything! But I still want one...".
Curtis was dragged around by the old man, which bore him with the history of their village which makes him wonder why do they welcome a stranger that can easily destroy the entire village easily?
Mirai sprinted to the outskirts of town, but was too late. A single Bogal showed itself and as an entrance stomped on two houses, which caused a massive sand explosion.
Mirai stopped by the outskirts, and switched his Blaster to a burst mode and opened fire upon the Bogal, knocking it back slightly.
The man and Curtis immediately took notice, and so did the village. Looking around, the villagers seem to think it is a harbinger of destruction, which they aren't wrong about.
"Hey, follow me sir! I think I know how to defeat that creature" he said to the man.
"Really?" He asked, surprised. "You? I'm sorry but with all due respect you're but a mere child".
"Just come here, man!" He said, dragging the old man into an alley.
"What are you going to do to defeat that bea-" the man asked, but immediately got knocked out by Curtis delivering a heavy chop to his neck at full power.
"I don't need you holding me back, Old man" He said before sprinting towards Bogal, shoving the villagers out of his way.
Mirai kept shooting the bolts at Bogal, which it took notice, and so did its friends. Many Bogal appeared behind the original, all firing off several purple fireballs, destroying the majority of that part of the outskirt of the village.
Curtis stopped at a tall house, just in time to see Mirai get bombarded by several fireballs, hearing a scream from Mirai.
"Damn it Mirai!" He shouted, Somewhat sad that his only otherworld traveler just died, he consulted himself thinking that he doesn't need to eat sand tempura anymore, the Alpha Character Card suddenly appeared from the Alpha Brace, he just casually grabbed it before inserting in back of the Alpha Brace and he raised it into the air
"Let's go, Alpha!", echoed throughout the empty village streets, a giant of light appeared infront of the Bogals, the natives looking in awe of their new apparent saviour, Alpha took on a battle stance against Bogal.
But before Alpha could engage, a small light in the smoke where Mirai was appeared which caught his attention, before a distinct "Mebius!!!" Echoed throughout the village as well, and a red-and-silver giant suddenly appeared in a shower of particles, taking his signature battle stance against the Bogal, before he too took notice of the other Ultraman.
Both in what seems to be unison, looked at eachother with confusion and asked "Who're you?" as they walked up to eachother.
"He looks like that Giant from those legends, the Brace, the crystal Timer...?" He asked himself.
"Grey, Red and white? Those bracers.... Is he a form of Noa...?" Mebius asked.
The natives just watched, and interpreting the two giants as saviors who descended from the sky in the form of two brothers
"You look like Noa..." Mebius said to Alpha, still trying to process what this giant was.
"And you look like Ultraman..." Alpha replied.
A Bogal that was just watching, screeched and sent a purple fireball at the two, both of which smacked out of the air with their fists, effectively separating the fireball in two, and both fired the Alpha Arrows and Mebium Arrow at that Bogal, which knocked it over into what seems to be agony.
"Stay out of this!" Both Ultras shouted at the Bogal, both scolding the Bogal for interrupting them.
This triggered the Bogals to screech and charge at the two, both of which looked at the Bogal and delivered their powered Kicks respectively, Sending it flying towards the other Bogal. This caused the still standing Bogals to charge at them.
Both of them looked at eachother and faced the horde of Bogals, Alpha sended out a series of scorching flames that forced the Bogal on one side to retreat, and Mebius shot out the Mebium Counter and sent the other Bogals flying with relatively large gashes across their chest.
"We've separated them quite evenly, Do you have a name?" Alpha asked.
"My name is Mebius, Ultraman Mebius." He replied, both taking a stance at the Bogals getting back up.
"Well...good job, Ultraman Mebius, my name is Ultraman Alpha. Lets get along."
"I second that. I assume we're both here for the same reason?" Mebius exchanged.
"How about we do introductions later and fight these 24 evenly split she-devils first?" Alpha said, Mebius giggled due to the phrasing and nodded in agreement.
The Bogals screeched in anger, both of which suddenly said "Right!" And took flight, sending the air breezing through the area, which almost lifted the villagers off their feet.
Mebius
Mebius wasted no time and activated his Mebium Blade Mid-Flight and sliced right through a Bogal upon landing, then delivered a powerful round-house kick to the torso of another which knocked it down. The many bogals sent their purple fireballs at Mebius which exploded, to of which they laughed but when the smoke cleared, Mebius was safe behind his Defense Arc.
This simply angered them more and charged at Mebius, to of which he jumped over them and kicked two in the head, sending them into the ground, while grabbing another one by the head and sending it flying into a sand hill. A Bogal from before got up and grabbed Mebius from behind, to of which Mebius elbowed the bogal several times and flipped it over onto the sand infront of him. However, once the Bogal hit the ground, its friends had gotten up and sent an entire barrage of fireballs at Mebius which made him back up and stop for a minute to catch his breath, the bogals turning over and extending their tails to grapple Mebius.
Mebius however had recovered and grabbed the tails out of the air in bulk, then with a large grunt, flew up high into the atmosphere and back down in full speed, landing at Mach speeds, smashing the Bogals painfully face first into the sand.
The bogals with confusion bumped into eachother as they scrambled to get up, before getting suddenly punched by Mebius into a pile with the Mebium Punch over and over. They had no defense, his strikes were quick and their strikes were sluggish and slow. Almost all of them were in a pile, and before they could get up, Mebius' entire body turned a rainbow colour.
"Storiuuuum! Cannon!" "Mebius said as he fired the ray directly into the pile of Bogals, easily ripping through them like butter and causing a gigantic nuclear-sized explosion, while the natives looked on in awe at the power of these apparent 'gods'.
The last Bogals stood up in a daze and grabbed Mebius from behind with their tails, attempting to bind him and destroy him by crushing. However, Mebius flew up and span at rapid speeds, sending the Bogals flying into the surround area.
However, one was able to stop its fall by remembering it could fly and attempted to go hand to hand with Mebius. However, with every one strike the Bogal makes, Mebius made 5. The Bogal tried to smash Mebius' head in, but was unable to even leave a scratch, Mebius pounding the Bogal for a time into the air, then flying up and kicking it down into the sand, an absolute slaughter.
Mebius crossed his hands onto his Mebium Brace and performed the iconic Mebium Shot, destroying the remaining Bogal one by one, easily ripping them apart in large explosions, but before he could destroy the last one, A smart one cloaked and tried to run away.
"oh noo you're not!".
Alpha
Landing infront of the Bogals, he took a stance and suddenly seemed to move as a blur to the natives, the Bogal attempting to swipe at Alpha with its claws, but by then it was too late and the Bogal was already head first into the ground with several impacts across its body.
Its friends charged at Alpha, to no avail as he flew above them and blasted them all into the ground with energy blasts. As they got up, he activated his Alpha blade and ran around the swarm of Bogals, slicing them into mincemeat. The bogals that resisted stood no chance as Alpha just pressed right through them, then flew back next to the border of the village to make sure none had escaped the meat grinder.
The bogals gotten up, furious that he is essentially toying with them, and charged in a fury at Alpha, but Alpha dodging the many strikes and quickly attacking the bogals all around him in quick strikes. However, one Bogal smacked Alpha right into the back, Alpha turning around and delivering a Alpha Power Punch into the stomach of the Bogal, sending it through two of its friends into the back of the sand hill.
Alpha just looked as the group of Bogals ran at him in fury, he sent a single Alpha Guillotine through the horde and made quick work of the majority of them, and sent the others flying from the force of it.
The Bogals on the side had gotten up and managed to grab Alpha with their tails like Mebius, but however immediately regretted it as their tails slowly heated up and before they could retract their tails in regret, Alpha grabbed the returning tails around him and sent dangerous amounts of electricity through them, essentially frying the Bogals.
Letting go, the Bogals got up extremely staggered and screeched, charging up their fireballs to their maximum potentials and shot them at Alpha, to of which he punched them back at the Bogals with ease, sending them flying onto their backs.
They got up pretty quick in anger, and flown up to get a vantage point then sent barrages upon barrages of blasts, but to no avail as Alpha flew behind one of them already and delivered a fatal strike into the head of the Bogal, effectively killing it.
The others charged at high speeds at Alpha, he simply shook his head at how charging never works well for them and this is what he guesses is about 3rd time they tried it. He sent another Alpha Guillotine through half of them, making them explode in mid-air.
The other Bogals stood no chance, as they get slaughtered by Alpha's martial arts in the air. After effectively dodging all of the Bogal's head smashing and stomach gouging attempts, and even the attempts to eat him sometimes, and with a decisive kick to all of them sent them flying into the sands below, before charging up and firing his Alpha Specium Ray into the Bogals below, completely destroying them into a giant explosion.
Both
"Oh no you're not!" Mebius shouted as he kicked the running Bogal in the back, then flying infront of it, landing onto the sand. The bogal then attempted to run back into the village, only to be bombarded with several energy rays from Alpha standing behind it. It screeched in anger then fired blasts at both, but its attempt to free itself were fruitless as Alpha and Mebius charged their beams and fired them right into Bogal, causing a gigantic explosion that dwarfs the previous ones with two finisher beams destroying one Bogal.
Alpha and Mebius stood there as the smoke cleared, nodding at eachother. They walked up to eachother, the natives yelling and shouting in happiness of the two giants that saved them, and even already began to connect their mythologies to the two giants.
"I assume that you're not native to the planet even with all the fire moves?", Alpha asked, certain that his answer would be yes.
"Yeah, but you're not native here either...just like Cu-", he shut his mouth, just in case that exposing his identity might anger his otherworldly friend.
"Hahaha...very funny, Mebius...or should I say...Mirai Hibino..."
"How long have you known?", Mebius looked at Alpha, wondering if he thought of the exact same thing when asking about his identity.
"About 5 minutes ago...when I read your mind like an open book..."
"Alpha! That's just rude!"
"Yep...you even speak like Mirai...hard childhood?"
"Stop reading my memories, Alpha...I have personal stuff too!"
"Fine...fine...but we'll continue this after we turn back into humans..."
"Why?"
"Because the natives are looking at us and praying to us...", he jerked his thumb to the natives who were down on both knees and praying.
"Yeah...it's getting really awkward...", Mebius and Alpha awkwardly turned around, their backs facing the still-praying natives, and flew away to the not-yet-setting Sun.
Both of them regrouped at the sand tempura restaurant, and went inside, before remembering the horrors that hid beyond those doors. They quickly acted as if they forgot something and ran back to their house to not appear rude in front of the manager of the restaurant.
They sat down on the sand chairs of the house, before awkwardly looking at each other, "So...", Curti said, "You're an Ultraman..."
"So are you.", Mirai replied, while shifting uncomfortably on the sand chair.
"Yeah, but at least I wasn't stupid enough to eat the sand tempura...", Curtis shuddered at the memory of the horrific food that Mirai had eaten to appear kind.
"Yeah, but what else I was supposed to do? It would be offensive if I refused their food! And you're probably starving by now right?"
"Nope, I ate salmon while you were off looking at the ladies at the festival..."
"I was not! And where did you get salmon from?"
"Oh...I just transmuted sand into salmon...it was delicious...I put teriyaki on it, and a bit of green onions..."
Mirai's eyes flew open, "Wait...if you can transmutation things...than we could save this planet from starvation!"
"Nope! They aren't worth my time..."
"What kind of Ultra are you? You have the opportunity to save a planet and yet you don't take it?"
"I'm not the Ultra...I'm merely a host for him...and if you ask me...if there was water, than it would all evaporate into the air and than the steam will keep the heat inside of the planet's atmosphere and than we'll cook them alive..."
"Than we could move the planet into a more habitable zone!"
"That could upset this solar system's organization, since all planets affect each other."
"But we can't sit here and do nothing!"
"Yes..yes, we can...Ugh, that sounded like Bob the Builder...anyways, it doesn't matter, this planet won't exist much longer..."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm saying that this planet's survival for tonight is so sleek that it makes a twig proud..."
"Tell me, what is going to happen to this planet tonight? I don't care what it is, I will still go and stop it!"
"If you say so...I've seen multiple futures of this planet...None of them end well...except for one...one chance on infinity that this planet will survive tonight..."
"One on infinity? That's ridiculous! I'll show you the true power of faith! And I believe that this planet can be saved and it will be saved! And if you didn't notice, My whole game is Infinity!"
"If you say so...but I don't know what gives it such a low-survival rate...So, be up for a surprise!"
"But still I'm not just gonna stand by while these people die...I will save them!"
"You mean 'we', right?"
"I thought that you said that..."
"You're way too naïve, Mirai, of course I'm gonna help you defend this planet! Oh and by the way...I was lying about the one on infinity chance of survival...", Mirai face plamed at that sentence.
"Why would you do that?" He asked.
"I just wanted to see the expression on your face...", Mirai faceplamed again, hoping that his teenage friend wasn't always like that, "But I wasn't kidding when I said that there would be an evil threatening this planet..."
Mirai left the sand house in exasperation, before going back into the festival to explore a little bit more about the culture of these beings, but also to clear his mind of what Curtis said about the darkness coming to this planet.
The very first native he first met suddenly appeared amongst the crowds, yelling to Mirai, "Hello! My friend? How is it going so far in the day?"
Mirai looked at the man and smiled, trying to hide the troubled look on his face, "Hello.", Mirai said, "Oh, how rude of me, I never even asked your name, even after all this time we lived in your village."
"My name is Shayne. Shayne Onyu (Shay-Ne-On-You or Shame-On-You). But my friend! You look troubled! Is something wrong?"
"No, nothing's wrong...it's just that, have you ever felt like you were invincible, but yet you were unable to do anything to stop the thing you feared the most from happening?"
"Everybody has these kinds of things...but do not worry, have faith in yourself, you are one of the strongest people I have ever met in my entire life!"
"I am?"
"Of course! Being able to eat 40 sand tempuras is something nobody has ever done! And even when those harbingers of destruction arrived, you still stood up to them! But for now, let's just stop worrying about things and enjoy the sight of the Perfect Eclispe!
The man tapped Mirai on the back, before leaving to join his compatriots to help them out with the Perfect Eclispe Overwatch-ing event. Mirai smiled at how peaceful this village is despite all the harsh conditions.
He had fun, Mirai joined in on dancing and jokes, and soon started to learn of the world's alphabetical system while despite being differently written, is still English.
The girl from before waved him over to her, as she had finished dancing. Mirai had a chance to finally actually talk. She seemed like a 19 year old girl, but was a little shorter than him and skinny probably due to malnutrition during what he can guess is "Summer" on this already warm planet.
"Hi!" The girl said. She was wearing adorned clothing with elaborate decorations, and had a fair skin tone for the planet's condition.
"Hello, I'm Hibino Mirai!" He greeted back.
"Hello there Mirai, I'm Shalsina. Head dancer of the Town!" She greeted happily, holding out a hand to shake. She reminds Mirai an awful lot like Aya.
"H-Hello there Shalsina." Mirai awkwardly replied and shook her hand, where she suddenly grabbed hold and pulled him over to a log to sit.
"Please, tell me where you came from!" She asked him immediately after sitting, giving notice to his blaster and jacket.
"I.... Another world. No idea how I got here though" Mirai said, and he isn't wrong.
"Really? That's sad! How're you going to get back?" She asked worriedly.
"I have my ways. Hey you said you dance right?" Mirai asked to change the subject.
"Yeah, of course. I'm the best dancer in the town!" She replied with frightening ease.
"Wanna duel me? I can guarantee I will give you a run for your money" Mirai said, smiling. However Shalsina just looked confused.
"Money?" She asked confused. But before she could continue, Mirai got up and back flipped onto the other side of the log then pointing at her.
"We doin' this or not?" He asked her. While he would not commonly use his speed in his Human form, He thinks it should be good to use for only dancing.
Several minutes passed, and Mirai had formed a gigantic crowd from his breakdancing he learned from the Showa Universe. Even Shalsina was completely suprised at the impossible moves he was doing, and when he stopped he pointed at Shalsina to do something that would equal that.
After several turns and having fun, he suddenly heard the familiar sound of the creature he had been so used to hearing. but there was a slight difference in its cry... a pained sound? Controlled?
He then heard the distinct cry of his elder brother Ultraseven's worst enemy, Pandon, but with also a different frequency...EX King Pandon Maybe?
Mirai got up from his seat and told the crowd and Shalsina "Sorry, I gotta go somewhere," and sprinted off before they could reply. Shalsina had a shocked expression and the crowd started asking where is he going.
Mirai ran to where the cries where at its peak loudness, but all he saw was sand, until suddenly, the ground started shaking. However nothing happened yet, and taking out his blaster he walked around a little before he saw movement. The entire sand hill, it was moving.
He fired one shot into it, which it seemed to stop. However after a few moments, two giants exploded out of the hill into two giant figures. However, the moment Mirai tried to fire, the loud screeches and roars of the monsters became apparent.
"Why're these Kaiju here?! And why are they both in EX AND Maga forms!?" He shouted before letting off a volley of blasts until he convinced himself it was futile. They approached the town and completely destroyed the buildings on the outer side of the Village.
"Stop It!" he shouted. He backed up, and into a dark alley. Before confirming that he was a safe distance away from the Kaiju and any prying eyes, he activated his Brace and swiped his hand across it.
"Mebius!!", echoed throughout the chaos that had started.
Mebius appeared in a golden stream of particles, and took a stance at the two Kaiju. There was no mistaking it, Both King Pandon and Zetton were EX and Maga at once. EX Maga King Pandon and Zetton both then started letting off a volley of fireballs to their new challenger.
Mebius generated the Mebium Defense Arc, while the fireballs' explosions caused mounds of sands to fly up into the air, shielding him from the monsters' sight as he flew up into the air, while the kaiju still fired barrages of fireballs at where he was just standing a moment ago.
He landed in back of the kaiju and released his Mebium Blade, and slashed down at EX Maga King Pandon, but one of its heads rotated 180° degrees and shot a fireball square in his chest which sends him flying backwards, landing on his feet.
However, before even the smoke cleared, Mebius' blade flashed in the Sun and cut one of its heads off, before kicking EX Maga Zetton in the chest, making it back up a few steps as sparks flew the air.
When it raised its head, Mebius had already prepared the Mebium Lightning Counter, and tried to punch it, but it used its Zetton Shutter, just barely saving its life as the Zetton Shutter was cracked and exploded, sending them both flying back. Unaware that Pandon had regrown its head, it stealthily creeped up on Mebius, before getting kicked in the face by Alpha as Pandon flew onto the sand mound.
"You can thank me later!", Alpha said, taking on his signature battle stance, while Mebius did the same.
Mebius
Mebius nail-kicked Zetton, but to no avail, as it just grabbed his leg and swung him away, Mebius did a backflip before landing on his two feet. EX Maga Zetton teleported in back of him,but he saw that coming and side-kicked it in the gut, it backed off a few steps in a daze.
Mebius took this opportunity to Ultra Punch it in the dome head, but once again, it raised its Zetton Shutter, but parts of it started falling. Zetton disengaged from his Zetton Shutter to let it repair itself, before smacking Mebius on both sides using his rather fat arms. Mebius, however, blocked both hits with his own arms and kicked it in the gut in an explosion of sparks.
Zetton growled and teleported once more, disappearing off to somewhere, until Mebius looked up to find Zetton with his fully-repaired Zetton Shutter, spinning at high speeds, imitating Ultraman X's Zetton Tornado.
Mebius side-stepped as the Zetton zoomed past him, it u-turned, trying to drill him once more, but Mebius once again evaded its attack by flying into the air. The Zetton, now angry, drilled forward at full speed, while Mebius charged at it with a kick and started spinning at high speeds, initiating the Mebium Drill Kick.
Both beings collided, resulting in a giant explosion, both alien and Ultra landed with their backs facing each other, Zetton got up, but collapsed from exhaustion, Mebius hinself got up, and put his hands in a 'L' shape, firing the Cinerama Shot, the beam flew through the air and shot EX Maga Zetton, but it simply absorbed it and fired it back. Mebius however, expected this of Zetton and kicked it into the skies.
Mebius' body then started glowing, and before Zetton could react, Mebius was behind it and gave a powerful kick to the side of its head, sending it flying into a mound of sand. When it got up, Mebius already charged the Metallium ray and fired it. The Zetton simply absorbed it again, but Mebius had already expected this and in the next moment as what seems like a few heartbeats, Mebius' Mebium Blade was send straight through the chest of the Zetton. It fired a fireball from its head and hit Mebius, forcing him to take a few steps up as it walked backwards in agony.
It tried to fire another volley of fireballs from its chest to no avail, and before it could finish trying, Mebius' blade was already in the air and above it. Mebius put his hands down, and turned away from the Zetton, before it exploded into Space Dinosaur tempura.
Alpha
Alpha ducked, evading an electrified fireball. He looked at EX Maga King Pandon, before wondering if he shouldn't have eaten KFC two days ago before going into this universe. The two-headed bird shot more fireballs at him, but he cart-wheeled away and transmutated a brick wall in front of him to block more incoming fireballs.
The Pandon slowly approached its prey, before realizing that behind that brick wall, was nobody. Alpha appeared right next to it and elbowed it in the gut, making it roll on the ground backwards in pain. The bird looked at Alpha, now in his black and grey form, Phantom mode.
It screeched before wings of fire sprouted from its back, it flew up into the air and started bombarding Alpha with barrages of fireballs. 'Alpha' disappeared, the bird looked at where Alpha was last seen, before one of its heads went flying, Alpha's speed mirage has served its purpose, that of a distraction.
The other twisted its neck at Alpha's direction, before realizing its mistake, it was just another speed mirage, the real Alpha was gone the moment he chopped one its heads. It jerked its head back to its original position, finding Alpha, charging at it in full speed while being surrounded by his aura, the Phantom Meteorite.
He crashed with Pandon, making it fall back to the sand, it got up and roared in anger, before Alpha proceeded to chop of its other head, he reverted back to his original form and drew an upside-down 'V' before doing a 360° turn, conpleting the triangle, he punched it in the middle, firing the Holy Shoot, annihalating EX Maga King Pandon.
Both
Both Mebius and Alpha both reverted back to their human forms. They walked back towards the village, talking.
"So, do you have any idea where those Kaiju came from?" Mirai asked Curtis questioningly.
"Absolutely no idea, however like you, I noticed they were pretty good sand dwellers." Curtis replied.
"So, are you going to join us in the Festival? you can make pretty good food and wow, some girls" Mirai joked.
"Oh how dare you, I'll make their world a thunder," Curtis replied sarcastically.
However, Mebius forced Curtis to go to the center of the Festival in order to socialize even a little bit anyways despite his sarcastic respone. Shalsina grabbed Mirai and pulled them both to the side.
"Where were you Mirai? You've just missed the two Gods of Light fight off the Harbingers of Darkness!" She told him excitingly.
"... Mirai, who is this girl and why is she totally all over you?" Curtis asked suspiciously, where Mirai only awkwardly laughed.
"Curtis, this is Shalsina. The head sancer of this village. Shalsina, This is Curtis. A fellow world traveller," Mirai replied who glanced annoyingly at Curtis as he coughed a few times, saying stuff like, 'Decade...'
"So, is she your girlfriend?" Curtis immediately asked to the surprise of Shalsina and Mebius, who was literally expecting it, as he knows his friend's personality pretty well by now.
"Whywouldyouthinkthat,Imeanit'snotlikeit'stotallyobviousright?" Shalsina started speaking in extremely fast speeds. She would continue to talk as Mirai and Curtis spoke to eachother.
"If you consider that she's a female and a friend, sure..." Mebius replied with the same snark. The horns rung for all the dancers to perform on stage and before they knew it, Shalsina had to go.
"Oh, so I have to go perform now, look for me Guys! Bye Mirai! See you again! Bye.... Uh, Cassius!" She shouted as she ran back towards the giant bonfire.
"Dangit...she didn't even remember my name...I mean...she did get my real name right though...", Curtis mumbled, as he wondered why is he still keeping his false identiy if people know his name as Cassius.
"What?", Mirai asked, hearing what Curtis' had mumbled, though the latter just dismissed it with a hand wave.
Looking up, Mebius recalled the Perfect Eclipse.
"Hey! Look! The eclipse is starting!", Mirai said, pointing towards DaruDune's moon, Glacia's slight red taint.
"That reminds me of something...but I wonder what?...", Curtis said, rubbing his chin as he tried to remember what it looked like.
"No time for that! Come on!", Mirai dragged Curtis away from where he was, hoping to catch up with Shayne Onyu for the Perfect Eclispe. When they reached the village, people were dancing and drinking Sand Booze, a kind of alcoholic drink made from fermented mashed sand bugs and scorpions mixed together along with a pint of scorpion venom.
"You know you can make them actual Alchoholic drinks right?" Mirai told him as they shuffled through a crowd.
"They seem happy enough without it", Curtis said, noticing how even kids were having fun on this accursed planet.
"Of course they are...", Mirai said, spotting Shayne Onyu hanging out with a girl, "You are happy as long as you think you are happy..."
"Really? Philosophy classes 101 right now? I'm guessing we have bigger problems tonight..."
"Why?", half of Galcia already has a blood-like colour.
"Alpha's powers of predicting the future isn't just for show...there must be something that will happen tonight!"
"I think that you're overthinking it, your prediction was probably just about the shadow that the eclipse casts over DaruDune tonight"
"Have sand gone into your brain?!?! Most predictions have like the worst things ever...like Nostradamus predicting the rise of Hitler and stuff...how is that a good thing?"
"Well...you aren't Nostardamus or whatever his name is..."
"It's Nostradamus! And have you ever seen a happy prediction before?"
"Well...no...", the eclipse was now three quarters complete.
"Exactly! I doubt that the blood-like colour on the natives' paradise means anything good! Since when was anything blood-coloured related good in the first place?!?!"
"True...but I believe in their beliefs!", the eclispe was now nine tenths complete.
"You're way too naïve...that is your fatal flaw...you tend to believe in things too much..."
"It doesn't matter! I will continue believing in the good of people!"
"I me-", Curtis was abruptly interupted by the sudden raise of mana in the air, while Mirai heard something crack in the distance, using his Ultra Senses, the notice seemed to come from Glacia. The Perfect Eclispe was now complete, at least the alignment of Glacia and DaruDune is, but Shalsina was dancing along with the other villagers, oblivious of what horrors will await them once the Perfect Eclispe is truly finalized.
Part 5: The Truth of Glacia[]
Shayne Onyu approached Mirai and Curtis, "How are you my friends? The eclispe just started! The power within Glacia should unleash in at least 30 minutes. But meanwhile, why don't you join me by the table and have some Sand Booze?"
Mirai smiled, "It would be our pleasure, right Curtis?", when Mirai turned around, Curtis was nowhere to be seen. He had escaped from the sight of terrifying food again.
"That kid...", Shayne said, "He was too young to drink Sand Booze anyways...", he began pouring a bottle of Sand Booze for Mirai, a bottle, not a glass, not a cup, a bottle.
"That much? But...", Mirai tried to find an excuse for him to not have that insane amount of foul smelling drink, "...I still need to enjoy the eclispe!"
"A bottle is a lot? Your culture is peculiar...we usually drink at least 3 to 5 bottles everyday!", Shayne began chugging his bottle, before Mirai followed, the liquid was like acid, it burnt his tongue and his throat, but it also smelled and tasted like really really aged fish.
When Mirai finished, he felt like running to the other side of the planet and vomiting it, but in all due respect, he convinced himself to swallow it like a man, before Shayne offered him another bottle, "Here's another bottle! For the mighty peace goddess!"
Curtis was hiding behind a house when Shayne asked both of them to have a taste at Sand Booze, and now, he was using his phone to record the face reactions of Mirai when he was drinking his first, second and third bottle of Sand Booze.
"Hehe, This will be Hiiiilarious," He said into the recording. What he didn't notice that his phone was soon running out of batteries.
As he chugged down the last booze Bottle, Shayne had already drank his 7th bottle and was completely drunk. Mirai however, was not even slightly drunk,
"You've got good willpower Kid..." He said in an extremely drunken manner.
"Uh, Sir? are you alright? do you want to rest a little?" He asked the man, wanting him to not drink too much.
"No, No it's fiiiiine! Lets do this!" Shayne said as he smiled and gotten up, taking three bottles with him and passing another to Mirai.
"Wait what!?" Mirai asked before he was dragged into a crowd of dancing people. He was holding a bottle of booze and sneakily hid it onto another drunk's hand, which didn't question how he gotten another bottle and drank it hurriedly.
Curtis was laughing in complete joy as Mirai struggles to keep what's left of his kindness and social Awkwardness on normal levels.
20 Minutes before the Perfect Eclipse finishes (when the planet finishes aligning withi the Glacia and DaruDune)
Mirai had finally gotten his way out of the crowd of drunks. He sat by a log, but Curtis still recorded on his phone oblivious to the phone battery indicator. Before long, Shayne had finally came down and sat next to Mirai.
He ranted on and on about the Eclipse and what good it will bring.
"The Eclipse shall enhance Glacia, and rain down a mysterious liquid upon us all! Life shall flourish and our true hero shall appear! Praise Gurzil! Down with Eirene!" He kept repeating notably.
"Excuse me, Shayne. Who's Eirene and Gurzil?" Mirai questioned.
"The Destructor, the one who brought ruin to our world! That witch, Eirene is. Gurzil saved us all with his might!" Shayne said. However, the way he said it made it seem like he was still drunken despite having came down.
"Wait that doesn't sound right, Why would Eirene want to bring destruction?" he asked back quickly.
"You think I know boy?" Shayne replied.
"Come to think of it, where's your home Shayne?" Mirai asked him. Everything seemed to turn dark the moment he asked however.
"Oh it's just there around the corner" Shayne soon replied, pointing at the end of the street behind them.
"Say, Shayne. Before the eclipse ends, can we visit your home?" Mirai asked curiously. The aura still lingers around him however.
"Never!" Shayne quickly snapped, catching Mirai by surprise. Shayne realized he snapped too and caughed into his hand.
"I mean... Not now my Boy. Not right now," Shayne tried to elaborate, and before Mirai could continue his questioning, Shayne's Grandsons and Granddaughters came running to him asked him to play with them.
"Play with us Grandpa!" Said one child. "Come on, Lets go dance at the fire!" Said another.
"Now now Children, I have to attend to our gues-"
"Oh no, it's fine! Go ahead Shayne! Don't keep the kids waiting!" Mirai quickly chimed in and pushed Shayne off the log and onto the kids, the kids practically dragging him towards the fire.
"Okay okay fine Kids, But Mirai. Do NOT go near my house, don't you dar-" Shayne spoke in a sudden deep voice, until the kids started yanking on him where he nearly trips towards the fire.
Mirai looked around, slightly threatened by Shayne. He however noticed Curtis' phone peeking out of the corner and before Curtis noticed, Mirai suddenly grabbed the phone out of his hand.
"Oh cr*p!" Curtis suddenly said, tripping backwards onto his back. "Don't give me a jumpscare like that dude! Do you WANT me to die!?' He snapped towards Mirai.
Mirai however didn't pay notice and looked at the recording and ended it and pointed the phone towards Curtis.
"2% battery? Really?" Mirai spoke back with the same snark.
"Oh crap really!?" Curtis stood up and grabbed his phone, quickly turning it off, realizing that there were no power outlets on this planet.
"Seeing as you've been spying, I hope you caught our conversation?" Mirai said, changing the subject.
"Besides Shayne going bonkers when you asked him about his house? Yeah...But he was always a bit cray-cray even without talking about his house anyways..." Curtis replied, putting his phone away.
"Yeah, what do you make of that?" Mirai asked Curtis. However, the moment Curtis tried to speak, a loud "Mirai!" echoed behind Curtis, which made him jump.
"HOLY GOD OF CHEESUS RIDING A NARWHAL ON JESUS BUDDHA ON THE HORSE!" Curtis shouted as he jumped backwards.
"Mirai, Mirai, lets dance again!" Shalsina said as she grabbed onto his arm, Curtis getting up.
"Okay, seriously, you're all trying to kill me," Curtis said, targeting Shalsina, as she hugged Mirai awkwardly.
"Uh, before that, Shalsina, can I ask you a few things?" Mirai asked hoping that she can give some clarification.
"Are you both seriously doing this now? Go make out somewhere else without someone STANDING RIGHT INFRONT OF YOU!" Curtis shouted at them both.
"I'm not going to try and do that, Curtis, chill down!", he sighed at his teenage human friend, "Shalsina, who's Eirene and Gurzil?" Mirai spoke. She seemed to gasp at this.
"How do you know about them? Only the most veteran of us knows the history of those two!" she said, exasperated.
"Uh, I can read your scriptures on the walls all over your houses and walls," He replied.
"But it's so complicated....but I have faith in a guy like you...What? Anyways, Gurzil and Eirene are supposedly two Gods from the Heavens that fought when they disagreed about our fates. Gurzil was blood-hungry, and sent his champion, the destructor, a dark creature with Glowing wings. However, Eirene the Goddess of Peace had enough of Gurzil and smited Gurzil, killing him forever." Shalsina told him.
"uh, TL;DR lady? We're not scientists..." Curtis immediately spoke.
"Gurzil is a destroyer, and Eirene is the Saviour. Put two and two together, anyways. But Shalsina, Shayne said the opposite though...," Mirai asked her.
"That's weird, he's one of our eldest...," She said back. In what seems to be unison, Curtis and Mirai looked at eachother, before looking at Shayne. Then the two's faces looked bleak.
"Hey what're you two thinking about?" She asked, releasing her grip on Mirai's arm. Curtis took initiative and grabbed Mirai, and both started sprinting down the street.
"Hey wait where are you two going!?" She shouts at both of them.
"Sorry Shalsina, I'll make it up to you later!" Mirai shouted back as they disappeared behind the buildings.
10 Minutes before Perfect Eclipse Finishes
"Okay Mirai, You saw it too right?! He didn't look right, at all. His mana was unhuman, it was not at all human! His aura was so different from the other ones!" Curtis said, slightly afraid that the person they've been trusting is now different.
"Yeah, I didn't see a human when I looked over. It was.... different" Mirai replied.
"So well!? Where's his house?" Curtis asked, very much in a hurry.
"It was this one, down the street,", Curtis and Mirai both rushed to his house, hoping that nothing evil is there, considering they trusted this man for the last few days.
Mirai tried to open the door, but to no avail, it was locked. Curtis sighed and kicked the door down, "It's made out of sand, dude...", he said, wondering how Mirai didn't think about it.
Mirai frowned, wondering that if they were wrong about Shayne, they would be in big trouble. They went inside the house. At first glance, the house seemed like any other typical hardened sand house. They looked around for a while.
After a while, both of them gathered back at the living room, "I didn't find anything. Did you?", Mirai asked, hoping that they didn't just come here in vain.
Curtis sighed and prepared to leave the house, but then, something caught his eye, "Mirai, wait!", he said, stopping Mirai in his tracks, "I just saw a glint of metal over there...and something tells me metal isn't something that's on this planet..."
Mirai nodded, before going to the place where Curtis indicated, he bent down, inspecting the spot closely and found a metal trapdoor sneakily hidden under the sands, "What is this doing here?"
"That was the question pretty much asked like...a few seconds ago...", Curtis joined Mirai at the metal trapdoor, who on closer inspecting, seemed to have inscriptions on it.
"What is that?", Mirai asked, also noticing the inscriptions.
"Apparently this is the Baltan language system..."
"Yeah I know, but...what is it doing here?"
"Maybe our "friend" Shayne isn't who he says he is..."
"But do you read Baltan? I hope so, because I can't find a handle to open it anywhere on this thing!"
Curtis looked at the inscriptions for a while, "Glory to our Lord and Saviour Gurzil, this chamber and it's key will be kept safe under my Body" It says..."
"Wait, is he talking about his bed?"
"I've seen dumb aliens...but this is a first...", Curtis walked away to Shayne's bedroom and looked under his bed, who did indeed have, a suspicious-looking button under it. He pressed it, a series of creaking sounds were heard, signaling the movement of some mechanical machines.
"It opened!", Mirai said. Curtis quickly rushed to join, but then hesitated in going inside the hatch that just opened as he couldn't see a blasted thing in there. He bit his lower lip, before jumping inside the hatch, landing on a hard, solid concrete floor.
"[Censored]!", Curtis swore as he felt the pain surging through his feet. He waited for Mirai to jump down, with no intention of catching him, but then he saw him climbing a set of stairs, "How did you find that set of stairs in the dark?!"
Mirai raised an eyebrow, "You didn't think that Shayne would just fly down here would you?"
"Hard to say...considering he's an alien crab!"
"Eh I think he's more of a Shrimp, but yes we need a light source, I can't see anything in the dark,"
Curtis whipped his phone out, turning on his flashlight that was running on the sad remaining 4% battery. Around him, he saw writings, writings that were almost instantly decoded in his mind as the Baltan writing system.
Mirai walked on ahead, while using his Ultra vision to see in the dark clearly. He arrived into an open room, filled with more Baltan-ic writing. A door stood alone at the edge of the room, lacking any sand, evidence that it had been used only recently.
Mirai opened it and opened his mouth in awe, inside the room was, in fact, an entire arsenal of weapons he had never seen before. He went inside the room, wishing for a closer look on the weapons, wondering why these were here.
A sudden explosion occured outside of the room, snapping him back into reality, he rushed outside and saw Curtis flying across the room, he glanced at the direction where Curtis flew from, and found Shayne there, with glowing red eyes and an intimidating crimson aura.
Curtis stood up from the rumble in which he found himself in, glancing at Mirai, hoping that he would at least help him a bit. Mirai nodded and exited from his hiding place with his blaster pointed towards Shayne.
"Who are you really?", Mirai asked, grinning his teeth as he gripped the blaster even tighter then before.
"Shayne" laughed and spoke in a demonic voice, "I am the Cyber Mecha Powered Neo Dark Baltan, otherwise known as the most perfect and deadly Baltan."
Curtis got back up, transmutated some sand in his palm, turning it into a complete copy of Mirai's GUYS blaster. He pointed it at the Baltan.
"That's not really you is it...", he said, questioning the Baltan even further.
"Indeed, Shayne was just a guise I took a few years ago after the old man died, I revived him as a hiding spot for my presence while the natives took it as a miracle. Shayne actually kept his conscience until these few vital last minutes..."
"What is your goal in all this?", the Baltan laughed even harder this time.
"While, of course to revive my master...the glorious, the bloody, the vengeful, the almighty, Gurzil!!!"
"But how are you going to succeed in your goal? According to the legends, Eirene killed Gurzil.", Mirai said, wishing that the Baltan's big mouth would spill his secrets.
"Do you take me for a fool? By the use of the Perfect Eclipse of course! I spread the rumours of the Eclipse bringing on paradise! Just to look at those poor fools faces when they've seen that they've been celebrating for the return of Gurzil all along! Bwahahahha!"
"This bastard laughs too much..." Curtis cringed.
"That still doesn't answer my question! Gurzil was supposed to be killed by Eirene!"
The Baltan laughed once more, "Eirene would never kill Gurzil! She was a fool! Peace never solves anything! That's why she sealed him at the cost of her own life!"
Curtis had heard enough, he prepared to pull the trigger of his blaster, but it was too late, "Enough chit-chat! Now it's time to end you two!", the Baltan said, "Shayne" turned into his turned into his true form, a demonic-looking Baltan with red eyes, a metal exo-skeleton and spikes protruding out of its back.
The Baltan grew to its true size, a 60 meter giant Futuristic Mechanical, armoured dark Baltan. Several sand houses were destroyed in the process, natives were running all around the place, screaming for the two Gods to save them. Curtis and Mirai both nodded, and transformed into their Ultra forms.
The two giants burst onto the scene in a shower of light. Alpha immediately thrusted forward and grabbed the Baltan by the collar and threw him into a sand ditch that was away from the town. The two Ultras followed and landed on to the sand.
When the Baltan got up, he shook himself off and opened his claws, where hundreds upon thousands of his upgraded Blade storm is fired at the duo. The two at first smacked the blades out of the air and both opened up their shields and blocked the onslaught, where the two ultras then looked at eachother and nodded.
In what seems to be a split second, Alpha jumped onto Mebius' shoulder and into the air and as Baltan aimed his Blades at Alpha, Mebius shot quick Mebium Darts into the Baltan's Abdomen, stunning him where Alpha delivered a powerful kick onto the Baltan's head which sent him flying back.
"You two are certainly great, yes. In this fight I cannot win, but a tactician uses what is available to him!", And with that the Baltan pressed a button on his armour, and the corpses and pieces of the Bogals and two Kaiju prior started Shaking. Mebius ran forward and attempted to throw a punch, but the corpses suddenly flew at him at high speeds and smashed him back onto the sand, where the Bogals melted and formed two distinct body shapes.
The Two Ultras were at awe, until the two kaiju finished repairing itself and there stood the Baltan, EX Maga King Pandon and EX Maga Zetton. Mebius got up and stood next to Alpha, where they looked at the two up and down.
"We can take them, although we can't split three though" Alpha said, fist bumping Mebius.
"Then we take them all out together!" Mebius then shouted, and both Ultras started sprinting at the three Servants of Gurzil.
The Baltan laughed and suddenly duplicated himself, and continued on and on, until there was more then 20 of him. Both Ultras looked at the crab armada, trying to figure out what to do.
Alpha looked at Mebius, wondering if he had anything that can get rid of all of those clones. Mebius bit his lip and generated his signature golden blade from the Mebium Brace. Alpha summoned his Paladin Armour and both went into a battle stance designated by their weapons.
Both sides charged at each other, creating relatively large clouds of dust while running. Mebius thrusted his blade at one of the Baltans, which faded into nothingness. He back-kicked another one that was charging at him from the back. The others decided to circle around him, deciding on what to do.
Mebius looked around him, and 'sheated' his blade. Both of his hands glowed, evidence that energy was coursing through him, the energy took the form of an Eye Slugger, resembling that of the late Ultraseven. The Baltans suddenly stopped circling around him, conscience of what he was about to do, they took off into the skies with the Mebius Slugger after them.
A few hundred metres away, Alpha blocked one of EX Zetton's hooks with his arm brace, while his other hand, wielding the Sigma Blade, slashed at the EX Pandon while trying to not get fried by its deadly fireballs. He round-house kicked Zetton, pushing it a few steps away, though, this gave Pandon the opportunity to blast him with a few fireballs.
Alpha grunted, he looked at both EX beasts, trying to predict their next move, when suddenly, the Mebius Slugger passed by his face, nearly cutting him, though it also managed to 'kill' another Baltan clone.
