Jurugomo Phantom is a vengeful Kaijin, she only appeared in Ultraman One.
Appearance[]
In her Kaijin Form, Jurugomo Phantom greatly represented her past human identity. She developed feminine monstrosity arachnid features as part of her mutation due to intensive hatred. True to her name, Jurugomo Phantom's mutated limbs have a spider-like motif.
History[]
As an Earthling who died many centuries ago, her soul wasn't truly put to rest due to the feelings of vengeance over her own life and the mistreatments from others she faced when she was alive. The Earthling was accidentally revived when an unknown surge of minus energies reached the famous cemetery where her past self was buried at. She calls herself "Jurugomo Phantom" after her mutation into a spider-like phantom. Across several midnights after her resurrection, Jurugomo Phantom held accountable for the murdering of visitors and the disappearance of worshippers in the very cemetery she was put to rest. Such events had led to the authorities and SACD as well as Hokuto Seiji, who sensed the presence of sinister energies and Jurugomo phantom's cackled laughter while doing investigations in the graveyard. Jurugomo Phantom finally made an appearance after awakening the souls of restless ones and absorbing their energies to fuel herself with maximum darkness as the SACD and the police force attempted to raid the entire cemetery in that particular midnight. Deeming them unable to reason with her past sufferings, Jurugomo Phantom forced them to respond back with their weapons but she easily shrugged them off and causing Toshiwa to become fatally wounded after holding him as a hostage. While Toshiwa's teammates escorted him for medical attention, Hokuto assumed Ultraman Ace and engaged with Jurugomo Phantom's gigantic form in an aerial clash. Jurugomo Phantom was capable of countering Ace's energy slicers with her tentacles and minus energies and eventually, she began absorbing Ace's light after downing him with a beam clash. The battle tides turned when Ultraman One returned from his home to rescue a severely weakened Ace. Immediately, One assumed his strength form and overpowered Jurugomo Phantom, who mocked humanity as weaklings as One decided to end her own misery. After countering Jurugomo Phantom's offensive attacks as Agile Form, One purified her past life's fallen soul and dissipated Jurugomo Phantom after winning over their beam clash. Jurugomo Phantom was permanently sealed at the cemetery when One used his Crescent Mode's powers. As One and Ace returned to their human selves, they invited the priests to vanquish Jurugomo Phantom's unresolvable hatred and returning the cemetery's normal state.
