Gigantes (ギガンテス Gigantesu?) are massive ape kaiju that appeared in episode TBA of Neo Ultraman Neos.

Neo Ultraman Neos[]
Originally, they are race of gigantic Gigantopithecus that have gone extinct 9 million years ago as the two last member male and female survived till today.
When Ultraseven 21 was visiting Planet Earth on the jungles of Vietnam, the male Gigantes blasted seven 21 out of the sky when passing overhead. After Seven was discovered by the female, and the ape seemed to be attracted to him more than the male Gigantes, the monster went on a rampage! It left the forest to destroy humanity and regain the love of its life. When the two met up, he was denied his love. This drove the male even more and continued its attack. Knowing what the monster wanted, Ultraman Neos arrives and challenges the male Gigantes.
Even then, however, Neos had trouble keeping up. He had never faced such a brutal monster before, but when Ultraseven 21 told Neos about the the female was watching, he knew the victor would take her. Knowing that this rampage was caused by the female falling for Ultraseven 21, Neos allowed himself to be thrown around and seemingly beaten. The female, impressed by the battle, took the male as her mate. The pair retreated back to the forest, never to be seen again.

- Gigantes' role in the series was to pay homage to episode 28 of Ultraman, except changed definitely.
