Batzeans (ZTAC)

Batzeans (バットジアンズ Battojianzu), recognized as the Alien Bat (バット星人), are a race of humanoid creatures who populate the Elucia Meteorite Belt as several colonies. They have maintained a neutral relationship with the Sevareans, taking no stand during the Great War of Sevar, though this has been debatable.

Backstory

Cultured as a race faring on the mystic arts, notably necromancy. Batzeans once had an untarnished, honorable reputation, using their magical abilities to alleviate curses, revive the dead, and help the weak. However, that has since changed.

Due to a drastic change in political hierarchy and state leadership, the Batzean Necromancer Authority was formed, that regulates the use of necromancy and other similar mystical techniques. The government bypassed laws and rigged said organisation, in order to puppeteer the people from the backstage. The Batzeans' powers were utilised for much more malicious purposes, such as research into the forbidden craft, alliances with malevolent alien groups for monetary benefits, and illegal experimentation.

It is said that on the outside, they preserved their neutrality regarding the alignment between factions during the Great War of Sevar; however, that is not true.

After the Great War, the whole populace seemingly disappeared. Planet Bat was left empty, deserted.

Body Features

• Abaddon Suit: This suit is a highly functional, mechanical outerwear which all Batzeans are required to don when attempting any form of necromancy or related Maejyc. Using a bio-photon shield powered by meticulously engineered and rewired Maejyc Crystals aligned to a subset of the Darkness elemental category (Death and its related powers), the suit helps negate whatever side effects or direct blows the Batzeans may receive whenever they're exposed to active Maejyc.
